Who do I contact if I have a problem?
Faculty
The University is led by the Rector, supported in this work by 5 Vice-Chancellors. Each faculty is headed by a dean, who reports to one or more vice-deans. The department is headed by the department director.
The rector is elected by all teaching staff and student representatives, and appoints the pro-rerectors and deans with whom he or she will lead the university. Department Directors are elected from within their department.
InfoCentre
Effective communication is the key to successful collaboration!
So, in order to make the relationship between the IMF and you, the students, a successful one, we want to make sure that the means of communication we make available to you, as well as the procedures you need to follow on a routine basis, are as accessible to you as possible.
A university-wide Student InfoCentre has been set up, which will be responsible for answering all your queries and providing you with all the information you need.
The Student InfoCentre works exclusively online, all student requests or questions can be sent to info@e-uvt.ro without having to go to the IMF headquarters and will be answered as soon as possible by our colleagues.
The InfoCentre has an FMI office which will be open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
All communication with IMF representatives can be done exclusively through the institutional e-mail address (e-uvt.ro).
The IMF Secretariat is not responsible for dealing with students. Therefore, if you send certain requests to the IMF Secretariat’s e-mail addresses, there is a possibility that you may not receive a reply or that you may receive a late reply. To avoid such situations, please send all your requests to the InfoCenter e-mail address – info@e-uvt.ro.
Year tutor
If in high school you had a tutor, in college you have a year tutor and a student tutor. The Tutor is the IMF academic assigned to support your guidance and integration into the university environment. The student tutor is a 2nd year FMI student who voluntarily works alongside the year tutor to support your guidance and integration into the university environment.
The list of year tutors can be found here.
